Heyzues Diablo

In loving memory of Heyzues Diablo 2015–2026

On January 23, 2026, my little man Heyzues Diablo gained his wings and went to heaven to be with the doves, my Grandpa Cliff, and his old owner Kelly. My heart is so heavy and aches deeply for my baby. I wish I had given you more or even stayed home that day.

Heyzues loved many things like napping with his momma, sharing snacks with his momma, and simply being by my side. He made many friends along the way starting with his best friend Lucky who is also not doing very well. They spent their best years together playing every day, running away together, just being dogs.

Heyzues also grew to love cats. When momma was always gone I got him a cat named Lyla and eventually another named Cosmo. I started to think he liked the cat life more than the dog life. He loved mouse toys, sitting on the window ledge barking at everything like my little chihuahua, playing with the cat laser, and even climbing a six foot cat tree.

Zues was a true trooper. He faced many health issues in his last few years and fought so hard to stay with me. He had a severe heart murmur and was on medication but it wasn’t enough. He developed fluid around his lungs and although the vet helped for a short time it only gave us two more days. When it was time Zuesy made his way to heaven where he could finally rest feel safe and be at home again.

If I could say one thing to him right now it would be I love you so much. I miss you and I would do anything to have you back. Lyla misses you deeply and Cosmo is confused about where you went. It’s hard really hard without you.

Heyzues was energetic strong and such a sweetheart. He was the best companion and best friend I could have ever asked for. I have had Zues since I was 10 years old. He even went through having half of his teeth removed and stayed strong through that surgery like the fighter he was.

Some really good memories with Heyzues were when we went to a picnic last year and our road trip from Florida to Iowa . He hated but enjoyed all the fashion shows I made him do. I always brought home cute shirts for him.

You were so loved Zuesy. Forever my little man.
