Minnie Moo

Minnie Moo Meador passed peacefully in the arms of her mama on August 18, 2025, following a battle with hemangiosarcoma. She was 9 years old.

Minnie was known for her joyful spirit and the way she filled every day with energy and love. She enjoyed barking at the turkeys outside, chasing the chickens, and playing tug-of-war with anyone who would join her. Minnie also enjoyed herself some Rotella’s Sandwich bread. While her humans would share, she was known to sneak off with a loaf or 2 to enjoy all to herself. Each night, she carried a toy to bed, a cherished ritual that reflected her playful heart.

Minnie was also active in her community. She participated in the Midlands Humane Society’s Wag-O-Gram program, bringing smiles to many. She proudly wore her Centris FCU shirt during the NHS Walk-a-Thon, where her photo remains displayed at the headquarters building. She attended NHS Dinner with the Dogs as a guest of Centris, and made her final public appearance serving as a teller alongside three other Golden Retrievers.

Minnie will be remembered for greeting everyone at the door with a toy in her mouth and her ever-wagging tail.

She is survived by her sister, Maddie; her cat companion, Cubs; her mom and dad; and her two kiddos, who she loved dearly and always posed for photos with.

Minnie brought joy to all who knew her and will be deeply missed
